Responsibilities

* Provide legal advisory support and perform all legal regulatory and compliance matters
* Draft, review and negotiate agreements, contracts and legal documents
* Identify legal risks and provide advice to the management of the Group

Requirements

* Qualified solicitor in Hong Kong or other common law jurisdiction
* Minimum 2-3 years post-qualification experience gained in-house or professional firm in corporate and commercial matters
* Experience in IPO is an advantage
* Preferably have knowledge in Australian laws and regulations
* Excellent communication, analytical and drafting skills
* Able to work independently with minimum supervision
* Able to travel overseas occasionally when required

The Company provides a full range of asset servicing solutions for pensions and funds in the region for employers and institutional investors with professional trustee, custodial and administration services. The Company is a major provider of retirement plans and pension / fund services, and one of the top five MPF service providers as well as one of the largest trust companies in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities

* Provide advice to business divisions and management on legal and regulatory matters regarding as well as practical issues arising from trusts, pension schemes and investment funds (including the trusteeship, fund management, administration and custodial aspects of the same)
* Monitor and review internal compliance reports, regulatory filings and legal documents (such as employee / vendor / client / product documents) with a view to promoting and maintaining an effective system of risk management in our group of companies and our service providers
* Product / service maintenance / development and update of control systems and procedures to manage risks and compliance commitments

Requirements

* Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification legal experience in law firms or as in-house counsel at financial institutions
* Experience in drafting and interpreting legal documents and compliance requirements relevant to ORSO, MPF and SFO regulations is essential

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Legal Dept, you will be responsible for providing all round support to the business on all legal related issues in Asia Pacific Region.
Requirements

* Qualified lawyer with 2-5 years experience working in professional law firm or MNC as in-house lawyer
* Previous experience in mergers & acquisitions a plus
* Good judgment and business sense
* Ability to manage, coordinate and drive matters forward
* A good team player and excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

* Provide legal advice and draft legal documentation in relation to all businesses of the Bank Group
* Ensure compliance with laws and regulations across the Bank Group
* Conduct legal research and update the Bank Group on relevant laws and regulations

Requirements

* University degree in Laws and a qualified lawyer
* 4 - 6 years’ post-qualification experience in the provision of legal support in commercial area, preferably in banking industry
* Preferably with knowledge of and exposure to issues relating to the Banking Ordinance, the Securities and Futures Ordinance or the HKMA Anti-Money Laundering Guideline
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Professional presentation and report writing skills
