Description
The Hong Kong Office provides trainee solicitors with a unique non-rotational training system that allows trainees to work across different practice areas simultaneously throughout their entire training period. From the onset, trainees are given a large degree of freedom, flexibility and responsibility in managing their own time and practice. Our trainees will develop a high level of legal skill and knowledge as they work with different lawyers from different practices and will have the opportunity to see projects, transactions and cases through to the end.
Our trainees are also given a great deal of supervision and support. Each trainee is assigned a supervising partner who is responsible for the trainee’s development. There are formal reviews that take place regularly to discuss a trainee’s performance and receive feedback. Trainees are required to attend internal and external professional development courses. Most importantly, trainees will receive continual training and feedback from the lawyers they work with.
