We can assist you with managing your critical employment relationship in China and Hong Kong. We work closely with our market leading Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) team in the United States on FCPA and anti-corruption issues in Hong Kong, China and Asia, including employee discipline and terminations related to potential fraud and corruption investigations.
We can also help you with your employment contracts, policies, handbooks, executive compensation arrangements and employee benefits plans; conduct compliance audits; provide on-site training and advise on the best way to protect employers' property and interests; advise on pension and social insurance obligations; and advise on employee mobility and immigration in a tax-effective and legally compliant way. For contentious matters in Hong Kong, we have an experienced Dispute Resolution team focusing on conducting cases in relevant local courts.
Our clients include a wide range of employers such as leading public and private companies, financial institutions and major multinationals.
Requirements
We are currently seeking experienced lawyers with solid employment law experience and good English language skills.The ideal candidate should possess at least 3 years practising experience either with an international or a reputable local law firm in China with a particular focus in employment law issues in China. Employment law experience in the United States will be advantageous but not essential.
