The Hong Kong office
Located in the prestigious building, our Hong Kong office is in the heart of central Hong Kong’s main financial and business district. The area is home to the best and most exclusive shops in Hong Kong, yet only two blocks away from fascinating local markets.
Practice area – Corporate
Our Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice, which forms part of our corporate group, as well as our broader global TMT practice group, is a market leader. We offer cutting-edge industry expertise and commercial awareness, combined with the resources and commitment to quality of a top flight City firm. We regularly advise on complex and innovative transactions, usually with an international dimension, across the APAC region, for multinational businesses, major public sector organisations and governments. Our client list includes household names and leading players in the sectors.
The general corporate group in Hong Kong office comprises of seven partners, two consultants as well as associates, paralegals and trainees. The group's practice works on take-overs, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, equity securities, strategic commercial arrangements and other transactions such as corporate restructuring and joint ventures.

The Role

Requirements
Qualifications required
* Candidates will be in the region of NQ to 2 years qualified, with a strong academic record.
* Prior TMT and/or IP experience preferred but not essential, however a keen interest in this area is essential.
* Candidates meeting the PQE requirements who are currently working in-house in the TMT sector are also encouraged to apply.
* Qualified in HK, Singapore, Malaysia, England & Wales, Australia or New Zealand.
* Excellent written and spoken English. Chinese language skill (written and spoken) preferred.
* The ability to speak and write an additional Asian language would also be an advantage.
