Responsibilities

As a Vice President in the team, the candidate’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

* Provide legal, regulatory and transactional advice on fixed income business and transactions for the Firm.
* Draft and negotiate transaction documentation including but not limited to derivative documentation.
* Manage legal due diligence process.
* Manage outside counsel relationships.
* Prepare policies & procedures for the Fixed Income business.
* Engage with colleagues in other regions (e.g. London & NY) to ensure consistent practices across the Firm,
* Work closely with colleagues in Compliance and other infrastructure groups across the Firm.
* Participate in industry groups.

Requirements

* At least 4-8 (post qualification) years of legal advisory experience to banks / financial institutions.
* Comprehensive knowledge and experience of ISDA documentation essential.
* Practical exposure to fixed income / structured credit deal and transactions essential.- Practical knowledge of laws and regulations.
* Excellent communication skills in English.
