Hong Kong Marketing & Client Services Manager - Asia

This Company is a major international law firm with 15 offices worldwide including in Hong Kong and Shanghai. We are seeking a Marketing & Client Services Manager – Asia to support our growing practice.
Responsibilities

The Marketing & Client Services Manager provides day-to-day support and strategic counsel for marketing and business development projects and initiatives in the Hong Kong and Shanghai offices.

* Provide support for client pitches and presentations, requests for proposals, targeted research, deal lists and experience lists.
* Plan and organize seminars, conferences, client events, promotional items, sponsorships and other similar projects.
* Work closely with the Marketing Communications Team to provide support for the creation, printing and distribution of electronic and printed marketing communications including newsletters, e-alerts, advertisements, web site content, brochures and other similar materials, coordinating with vendors as appropriate.
* Work closely with the PR Team to provide public relations support, including cultivating contacts within relevant media outlets and legal directories, placing attorney articles and preparing and submitting information for rankings, awards, legal directories and league tables.
* Provide creative and strategic marketing and business development counsel and coaching in order to carryout business development goals of attorneys and practices represented within responsible offices.

Requirements

Qualifications

* Must have strong English language skills; ability to read and write in Chinese a strong plus.
* Must be able to communicate ideas or positions orally and in writing in a clear, efficient and organized manner.
* Must be able to assess and develop creative strategies for achieving individual and group marketing and business development objectives incorporating business priorities, industry trends and economic viability.
* Must be proactive and able to take the first steps to identifying and addressing existing and potential opportunities, obstacles and issues.
* Must be able to build formal and informal networks both within the organization and outside of the organization in order to share information, ideas and problems.
* Must be able to effectively multi-task and prioritize projects while meeting all appropriate personal and team deadlines.
* Must be able to carryout projects from start to finish with minimal supervision and be able to take appropriate actions to ensure obligations are met.

Education and/or Experience

BA or BS from an accredited college or university as well as five years experience in a marketing or business development field preferred; or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
