Description
An exciting opportunity exists in our Shanghai office. This role will be working with the B&F team on the Mainland and in Hong Kong on a variety of China and Asian based banking and finance matters as we build up the capability of our Shanghai office. The practice currently requires lawyers with language skills to work in a variety of areas, including acting for Australian, international and Chinese banks on outbound financing matters, general corporate secured financing, finance leasing, financial regulatory and compliance, structured products and derivatives.
Requirements
You will:
* have been admitted in the PRC or Australia and have had at least 4 years of post qualification experience
* be fluent in Mandarin (spoken and preferably written) and English (both spoken and written)
* preferably have some international education or legal experience
* have experience in general regulatory issues for B&F in PRC
* desirably have experience in advising financial & capital market transactions (e.g. CFETS, NAFMII, QDII) and structured products
