Description
An exciting opportunity exists within the Hong Kong office for an M&A mid level lawyer or Senior Associate. This role will be working with the M&A team on a variety of Asian based mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, outsourcings and other corporate and commercial transactions, particularly in the financial institutions and information technology/communications industries.
The focus of the practice is on private company mergers and acquisitions, private equity work, related IT and services contracts and debt and equity financings.
Requirements
The most important qualifying characteristics of the applicant would be experience in drafting acquisition and disposition agreements (assets and shares), joint venture documentation and the like and in running private mergers and acquisitions transactions. The ability to speak Mandarin is desirable but not essential.
The Asian offices are a key part of the firms overall long term strategy and the Hong Kong office plays a key role in this. As a Senior Associate in the Hong Kong office the successful applicant will have the ability to run large complex deals with a high level of autonomy.
[The successful internal applicant for this Senior Associate role will be willing to transfer to the HK office for a minimum period of 2 years.
