Hong Kong - Marketing Communication Manager

Description

An online recruitment portal focusing on the legal profession across Asia-Pacific. The business was launched recently and has attracted a significant number of both employers and job-seekers. We are seeking a Marketing Communication Manager with the skills to develop & implement dynamic marketing communication projects & campaign to promote the website branding in the Asia Pacific Region.
Responsibilities


To build excellent & exceptional corporate and brand image through proactive and strategic marketing programs with the aim of creating brand value and exposure across Asia Pacific

Establish marketing communication budget and monitor all expenses across the region, impact on website performance and business revenue

Partner & engage with Sales & Product Marketing Team to develop an intimate understanding of web site performance that translates into the direction, strategy, evaluation, formulation and ultimately implementation of the region or country specific marketing communication programs

Identify and develop business partnership / sponsorship, advertising channel, media opportunity, new media and any value added opportunity

Negotiation with different business partners / vendors / PR Firms / agencies involved in the creation, development and execution of marketing campaigns in order to achieve effective marketing communication expenses budget

Keep abreast of market situation through market intelligence and research programs, turning into insights, plan and action

Update and present with internal stakeholders for the progress and result of the marketing communication plans and programs

Provide guidance & information to assist the web site design, layout & content building through the market research program and customer satisfaction survey

Provide administrative support for all kinds of marketing communication project and program

Ensure marketing communication activities are in line with the corporate branding guideline as defined by the management

Act as brand ambassador and live the brand values through integrated communication programs

Requirements

University Degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Public Relation or any related discipline

Minimum 5 years of working experience in marketing communications preferably in Online or related industry

Regional experience and exposure is definitely an advantage

Solid project management experience in marketing communication program or campaign formulation, planning, implementation and execution

Excellent functional expertise with proven track record in collateral production, print advertisement, online promotion, business partnership / sponsorship and event management

Excellent analytical silks with ability to gather and interpret information into marketing communication initiative through market intelligence and research program

Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects

Ability to establish marketing communication financial budgetary plan

Excellent people communication skills and an upbeat, entrepreneurial, passionate, self-motivated, outgoing and enthusiastic attitude

Independent, articulate, creative, detail mind and problem solving skills with very hands-on implementation

Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin with excellent English / Chinese editorial skills

Hong Kong - Corporate Associate Part Time

Responsibilities

The applicant will work closely with the Firm’s founder, John Gale, on a wide range of advisory and transactional matters. The work involves a board range of commercial and corporate advice, including M&A, and advising listed companies of transactions and continuing compliance.

The Firm does not do IPOs.

Requirements

Languages: Fluent English and Cantonese. Written Chinese. Putonghua is useful, but not essential.


Legal skills:

1. Experience of a wide range of corporate and commercial advice and transactions
2. Thorough understanding of Hong Kong Listing Rules and Takeover Code
3. Good drafting skills. Must like drafting, be resourceful in finding and adapting precedents, and be comfortable to draft free hand
4. Good legal research skills, including online

Other skills:

1. Good IT skills
2. An eye for detail
3. Clear spoken communication
4. Calm, amiable and approachable personality
5. Efficient and dependable
